My music discovery journey continues with a trio of teen sisters from the wastelands of Suburbia (as their bio puts it) in Marlborough, MA.
The band, Circus Trees pack a wallop with their third and latest release, “Delusions”. The music is heavy, dark and droning with absolutely massive guitars, yet can feel somewhat dirge-like with singer Fin McCarthy’s slow and mournful approach to melody.
It’s an impressively mature offering by 3 kids in the burbs. With chops like these at such a young age, they are ones to keep an eye on.
